Information about Registering to Vote

DON’T LOSE YOUR RIGHT TO VOTE 

To register to vote you must be aged 16 or over and be a British, Commonwealth or European Union Citizen.

The Annual Canvass of Electors commences on 1st July and concludes on 30th November annually.  Canvass forms will be sent out to all households in the Borough during this period.

REGISTRATION FROM 1ST DECEMBER TO 30TH JUNE

If you move to a new property, new registrations can be made at www.gov.uk/register-to-vote.  Your date of birth and National Insurance Number is required for this and you will also be able to record where you have moved from.  Alternatively, you can contact Electoral Services by phone or e-mail on the contact details below.
