There are in excess of 430 litter bins located in strategic areas around the Borough. The majority of these bins have been sited in places where there are likely to be a significant amount of people, for instance in the Town Centre, in other shopping areas, close to beaches and on popular dog walking routes.
All litter bins in the Borough are designated as Dual Purpose Bins, which means bagged Dog Faeces can be placed in any litter bin in the Borough. Find out more about Dog Fouling.
If residents see any damage to litter bins, or bins that are full and require emptying, please report it to the Streetcare Department on 01229 876543.
