The Forum 

The forum is the perfect venue for all of your business needs.

The Studio is a lecture theatre with tiered seating holding up to 160 people. Equipped with all of the technical equipment this space is perfect to host a professional presentation, film show or a small lecture.

The Studio is located on the first floor and is accessible to all.

For a large conference the Main Hall can seat over 500 whilst the Grasmere and Rydal suites can be set out to meet any requirement.  For more details of facilities please click on link below

Cooke's Studios, 104 Abbey Road, Barrow

Perfect for smaller events, exhibitions and workshops, particularly those with a creative theme, the Cooke’s Studios is centrally on Abbey Road next door to the Duke of Edinburgh Hotel and across the road from the train and bus stations.

The building is a newly refurbished grade II listed creative centre, an attractive contemporary space which offers:

A studio space on the ground floor, which comfortably seats an audience of 60 in ‘cinema style’ rows, or laid out with tables and chairs fits 40-50 people. It has a brand new cinema screen with surround sound which can be used to project from a laptop for presentations. Extra requirements for items such as flip charts or catering facilities can also be arranged. Available daytime, evening & weekends, prices start from £70 a day, special rates for community and non-profit groups.

An ICT suite & training workshop space – 2 adjoined rooms offering classroom-style seating for up to 15 in one side, with projection facilities, and a bank of 6 Mac computers and comfy seating area next door. Ideal for smaller training groups. Prices start from £50 a day, special rates for community and non-profit groups.

Phoenix Business Centre

Phoenix Business Centre have rooms for hire for business meetings.

The Centre has a modern Conference Room seating 1 - 16 delegates, ideally suited for training days, Board Meetings and small Conferences. 

A small meeting room can also be hired, which would be suitable for formal interviews and small  meetings.
