| Description | Concrete is manufactured by mixing, in carefully controlled proportions, Portland cement or a mixture of cementitious materials in powder form, together with coarse and fine aggregates (gravel, crushed stone or sand), and water. The proportions chosen are determined by the performance or composition necessary to meet the specification or performance requirements.
